After working 10+ years in full-time vocational ministry, God called Julie to pursue a new calling. Upon experiencing deep loss and hurt, Julie recognized the significant gaps between the church and understanding the health and healing of the whole person. In deep loss, God blossomed great hope for the single mom and her two boys. Julie pursued her Masters in Mental Health Counseling at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, in order to bolster the local church, the individual and the entire family system through offering robust Christian integrated services.

Today, Julie is passionate about building a bridge that church generations can walk on through providing holistic care in counseling services and equipping the church for being the ordinary hands and feet of Jesus, that can engage hard spaces of extraordinary tension, loss, and suffering.

Julie is married and raising 4 rambunctious boys in the Milwaukee Suburbs. Julie and her family enjoy being outdoors, particularly being active by hiking, biking, playing pickle ball, or anything baseball related. When caught indoors you can find Julie reading, knitting, or learning. Julie is passionate about the art of play, learning to maintain a playfulness throughout adulthood.
